The London Evening Standard are reporting that Chelsea’s failed attempts to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have brought back the name of Antonio Candreva for their wishlist.
Chamberlain signed for Liverpool earlier today after rejecting Chelsea and the Blues are desperately trying to look for a winger. This brings up Candreva who Conte is a big fan of and who they’ve already been previously linked with in this transfer window.
It is remained to be seen whether Chelsea will have enough time though, after Rafinha also rejected them.

It may sounds a bit reckless. But Candreva is already 30 right now. This is probably the LAST chance we could sell him for a decent price (maybe 25~30m). Next year there won’t be any team willing to pay that sum for him.
At the other hand, we’ve got Karamoh right now. And later Cancelo can cover the Right Wing sub too when he comeback from injury.
Though in my opinion, I believe management will still buy another matured RW for first eleven (24+ of age, with some proven records) if we do sell Candre. If this happens, it’s still a positive scenario for us.
But to fulfill this story, Inter have to make sure they’ve found the new target before selling Candreva within these remaining transfer days (the ‘Moratti last hour deal’). Otherwise it may be backfired.
They got Zappacosta, I doubt they are still in for him.
True, they are good with him
No. Not now.
Selling him now would season suicide!
Impossible at this point.
