Inter are currently observing Kostas Manolas’ situation Gazzetta dello Sport detail. Roma are eager to renew with the Greek defender, who was subject to strong interest from the Nerazzurri at the tail end of last season and the early mercato.
The Giallorossi have proposed a three year extension to his current contract, which expires in two years time. Their salary offer has fallen some way off of Manolas’ €4 million demands however. The capital club have offered the 26 year old an annual salary of €2.5 million. Moreover, the new contract would contain a €30 million release clause which has raised an interest from Inter again.

As far as I know the €30m release clause is only available for foreign clubs, like we have done with Icardi’s €110m clause.
