Gazzetta – Ranocchia last played at the San Siro in November

Andrea Ranocchia is one of two alternatives available to Luciano Spalletti to replace Milan Skriniar and Miranda. The 29 year old central defender last played at the San Siro last November Gazzetta dello Sport recall. Ranocchia only made five league appearances for the Nerazzurri last season before a loan to Hull City and was largely expected to depart in the mercato. No move came to fruition however as Inter failed to add a new central defender.
