Jeison Murillo, who left Inter in August for Spain, spoke to Radio Marca about his second life in la Liga but also referred to his nerazzurri experience, saying: “The Bernabeu debut was a crazy game because we faced the best team in the world. I have to thank the team for the confidence on and off the pitch. At 18 I came here to grow as a footballer and personally I went above and beyond my own expectations by coming back.”

“Inter has made me improve tactically and defensively and now I’m with a club that wants to resurrect itself.  In Italy you have to work hard and learning their game was important for me. I played on a big team in Italy but now I’m on to Valencia and I have to show many worth. ”

Murillo then talks about the first impressions of coach Marcelino and teammate Geoffrey Kondogbia, who met him a few days later in Spain: “I talked to Marcelino before I came. Of course, his confidence was very important to make a decision. I came from a team where the situation was not the best and I am in Valencia now who are at the top of Europe even though in the last two seasons they did not get the best results. For me, this is a big challenge. Kondogbia? I was friends with him at Inter, he has a lot of character and no fear. He has so much to give and show. ”
