After yet another impressive performance which saw him lead Inter’s defence to a third consecutive win in three matches as well as almost score what could have been the goal of the season, Milan Skriniar stopped by Inter Channel to share his thoughts on the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 win against SPAL.

“I am very happy, also for the many fans that came to the San Siro and applauded me. It was not a an easy match, they are very organized, very narrow and they concede very little space. I think that we managed to get another very important win.”

Did you expect this level of enthusiasm shown to you by the fans?

“My objective is always to help the team. Then I am very happy if the fans help me with their positive messages.”

What can you say about your shot that smashed the bar?

“I did not think at all. I had a bit of space and went for it. Shame it did not go in, it was a good shot.”

How is your partnership with Miranda coming along?

“We have always played together since I arrived, there is no problem with playing with him.”

Now it is off to play away against Crotone.

“We are aware that it will not be easy there either.”
