BWIN – Inter will be 2.7 points better off without Europa League

Inter’s new partner, betting company BWIN have analysed the effect that Europa League football has on teams performances in Serie A. Their analysis suggests that Lazio, Milan and Atlanta – this year’s Italian representatives in the competition – will be 3.9 points worse off than last season on average. The figures are based on the 136 clubs who featured last season and their finish in the league.

Moreover, BWIN examined what a lack of Europa League football means for those who participated last year. Inter, Fiorentina and Sassuolo represented Italy last year and are expected to be 2.7 points better off than last year.
