From UK – Ozil’s contract expiring, Inter a possible next destination

In nine months time, Mesut Ozil’s Arsenal contract will expire. The Sun report that the 28-year-old has rejected a number of lucrative offers to remain at the Emirates stadium past this season and looks highly likely to depart.

The German midfielder joined the Gunners back in 2013 and as of January 2018 will be free to negotiate a pre-contract with a new club. He is understood to be demanding no less than £300,000 (€336,000) per week.

Manchester United are watching the situation of the former Real Madrid play maker while Inter and Turkish club Fenerbahce are also listed as possible next destinations for Ozil. In his four years in North London, Ozil has three FA Cup winners medals and a Community Shield winners medal also. Moreover, he was named the German player of the year in both 2015 and 2016.
