I was going to post this also, Icardi is great but it’s unrealistic to expect him to score every game due to many reasons. Glad that others are contributing. Would like to see our MF actually score for once, which is something that we’re missing.

This was such an ugly game, no sense of flow or anything. We didn’t play good and it wouldn’t be a reach to say that Crotone could’ve easily gotten a point, the 2-0 scoreline doesn’t justify the game. We got a rather lucky win here, that’s for sure. If the first goal didn’t come it would’ve ended as a draw, the second goal came because they let up. But who else to save us than Škriniar, who has arguably been our best player behind Icardi and Perišić. And after that Perišić secured the win, showing yet again why we fought to keep him.
But in the end we got the 3 points, all that matters. Forza Inter! But I expect better in the future. 12/12 points so far, feels good man.

Gagliardini is good physical player especially when he has space to run like vs SPAL. But he can’t deal with opponent pressure as we saw in roma match. Mark him tight and press him hard, then he become a tree. Vecino otherwise is smarter in situation like this. He don’t afraid of opponent, and he think before he pass to add something in build up play. would be nice if gaglia learn something from him.
True. AFAIK, Gaglia is better defensively than Vecino. I think, since J. Mario and Valero were there to support the attacking play, then probably Spaleti put Gaglia to help the balance in the midfield defensively. In the second half, we desperately need to score a goal, and that’s why Spaleti put Vecino. If we were 2-0 lead in the first half, I believe Spaleti will put Vecino as a sub of Valero instead of Gaglia. Just my guess though 🙂 but anyway Forza Inter and Milan… skriniar 😀
Perhaps but they are pretty much the same deal. Short passes, zone coverage. Nothing more, nothing less. Gagliardini is stronger but Vecino is smarter though.
agree with it all, still very interesting to see how we changed and played much better when playing 3-4-3 with Mario on the wing and Perisic ditto, and sure Naga is better than Dalbert as of today
