Valero is useless, gets tired fast. Doesnt do much in the midfield. His time is up. We need a new central mid, cb and an amf in january.

That is unfair to say really, he had a horrible game mid week and wasn’t anything special on the weekend, but that does not justify your comment as most of the team played horribly in these games.
Hate him or love him, he is the only player we have that can move the midfield; we cant rely on long balls and dropping deep mario alone, we need diversity in transition and borja has the experience, vision and technique to offer that killer space opening pass or step-over.
He was used to playing in a three man midfield with one DM, now its a two DM system with the 3rd midfielder being more of an attacker. Give the team time to grow together, specially the midfield. Other than brozo no available midfielder has spent more than a season with the club.
I dont know if we watch the same game or not because i have seen him do alot of mistakes and lose the ball to other team, he needs to work more on his defensive role, each game he either play with and without consisstency. For example that goal by verdi should have been covered by our midfield and both vecino and valero are to blame. He has experience yes and i agree with the things u say but the guy is clearly declining. And we should have bought someone younger. So i’d say that we should only keep him this season if he cant step up. He need to convince tht he can give 100% every game and i dont see that happening.
i think we can both agree that he played terribly, but so did others.
that is my point; unfair to pin it all on him, as the rest of team improve, so will he.
I would like to see Valero behind the striker or on the bench.. He hasn’t been good lately and a midfield with Vacino and Gaglia would be good to see.. even tho Gaglia lose some balls he is with out doubt the middfielder that wins most balls also.. Valero look tired and doesn’t win much duels in the center of the park…
