Inter coach Luciano Spalletti and his Genoa counterpart, Ivan Juric have decided to field the following 22 players in today’s Serie A fixture at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
Luciano Spalletti has decided to make two changes to the Nerazzurri team that started at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara against Bologna on Tuesday with Dalbert replacing Yuto Nagatomo on the left side of defence whilst Marcelo Brozovic replaces Joao Mario just behind Mauro Icardi.
Ivan Juric has decided to field teenage sensation Pellegri up front where he is flanked by Adel Taarabt and Stephane Omeonga in a 3-4-2-1 formation. Inter’s treble-hero Goran Pandev starts on the bench for the Grifoni.

Great stuff from Icardi with that clearance, that was something captains ought to do. He seriously has to work in his passing though. (And I’m known as a Icardi hater just so u know.)
Regarding the transfers though, I think generally we’re worse than last year. Last year was bad because De Boer didn’t get the proper time to work with the team, than came Pioli halfway through. But in terms of talent last year’s team was obviously better than this one.
Except the wings we haven’t done improvements elsewhere. Murillo with Skriniar is more or less the same. We haven’t lost much from losing Murillo but we either haven’t gain that much by getting Skriniar. It would have been a gain if we had the two of them though and Ranochia out.
In midfield we had players like Medel,Kondogbia and now they are gone. Perhaps is not wise having only 5 midfielders. And to be honest Valero is a good transfer but he lacks the stamina and physicality and let’s cut the crap he’s no Pirlo. All we have now is Gagliardini and Mario because I can’t rely that much on Brozo and Vecino personally although both can be very good and they were very good today. But Brozo is inconsistent, he has 2 good games out of 10 games. Vecino while he can be very good in attacking at defense he’s quite poor. So all we got left are Mario and Gaglia who are more consistent although they aren’t where we need them to be obviously but they’re the best we got right now in terms of consistency and all around quality.
Karamoah surprised me today, he seems more than ready for Serie A. I would start giving him a lot more minutes and even complete matches. Candreva has to know he’s no God at Inter. If Karamoah plays like that every match I would put him before Candreva any day. And considering he’s young, he could be one of our aces if not the Ace of our team.
Today’s brozovic is a starter in my book.
Of Icardi today one cannot even say that he was out of physical form or lacked commitment .
He ran a lot ,he gave his best and tried all kind of things, he just lacked plain , old quality,.
He missed most of the ball stops and passes he tried.
Now…THAT ..could be a problem.
A basic , fundamental , football quality problem.
He makes it up in other ways, but I’m afraid he will just never become an all around top quality player.
Agree 100% percent with you. That’s why I criticize him and instead people label me as a Icardi hater. Especially when I tell them he is not the level of Benzema,Aguero and many other attackers that Icardi fans say he is. Simply because he can’t create even with simple passes. Because I know dribbling is not his thing.
And on top of that he doesn’t always commit like he did today. Sometimes he just waits for the balls and wastes them by not giving good passes or being able to hold to the ball.
So for me Icardi is more of a second striker rather a main striker. You just can’t built the play around him because like you said he doesn’t do even the basic things right.
I like brozo last year, he plays smart, score goals, give assists, and deliver lots of creativity to our forward, but yesterday he cannot deliver all of that, and thats why I wanted him to be subbed off yesterday. But I still hope the best from him

Gabi would have done the same thing that Karamoh did today. Ball composure and fancy moves, but mediocre defending and positioning. The only thing is we got Karamoh 1/6th of Barbosa’s price.
I don’t think so. Gabi would NEVER shoot like Karamoh did from a far (and earn corner kick for goal). He never made a complete dribbling, Karamoh made 3 or 4 just today. I didn’t see Karamoh posting on social media and he already made debut. He won several fouls and hardly lose the ball. Strong and so fast. And so enjoyable to watch. Maybe I’m hyped but I was very pleased with him today.

Karamoah used every second he had wisely and had a clear impact on the match. He cost Genoa one red card and one yellow card in less than 20 minutes and also the corner that led to the goal.
As far as I’m concerned his debute was almost like the Recoba one, when he entered and won the game for us.
I can’t say how Karamoah’s developement will go, but you have no reason to disrespect him regarding this match. He did more and better than all of Gabi’s playing time combined. Gabi would have never done the same thing Karamoah did today. Period.
I only hope he’ll grow more and be consistent because I loved what I saw from him today.

This Inter reminds me too much of Mancini’s 2015 Inter. Spaletti needs to find a way to be unpredictable. The ball needs to move faster, and midfielders should switch positions in attack.
Positives:
+ Dalbert showed that he’s already a better defender than Dumbo is. He is a solid start for LB.
+ Karamoh showed that he is no worse than Candy, should be given chances more.
+ Icardi’s saving tackle and trackback
+ Skiriniar the wall, kept consistency
+Another clean sheet
Negatives:
– Zero creativity other than Perisic in the team
– Predictable sideways passing
– Weakness in defending crosses
– Lack of chances against smaller teams

Brozo was superb, especially in the first half. I’d like to see him in one of the two DM positions along with Gagliardini. The only risk with him in that position is (as we have seen before) he stops defending when he gets frustrated. That had costs us goal before in the past.

Dalbert is better than Dumbo is? Did you mean Nagatomo? With Spalletti, D’Ambrosio so far has been playing at his best compared to the way he played for us in the previous seasons. If it wasn’t for his goal today, we would be four points behind Napoli and Juventus, one point ahead Lazio, and if Roma later win against Sampdoria, they will surpass us. About Karamoah, I agree. If the next match Candreva still sucks in the first half, the young French must play in the second half. Skriniar has absolutely been our best signing so far. Next year especially if we qualify the CL, it is great to see him paired up with Manolas or Koulibaly.
What I like in Dalbert defending style is the fact that he closes down the attacker, just like Skriniar and Miranda. That gives the attacker no chance for a cross. I’m not criticizing Dumbo, I just think Dalbert is a better fullback than him.
And forget about Koulibaly, that joke of a president in Naples will NEVER sell us a good player!
Dalbert is showing he is worth signing. Yes, it might be impossible to sign Koulibaly, but Manolas is still possible, and I don’t think he is below Koulibaly.
Manolas is great, but if it is about dreaming, I want Gimenez. It can be possible if we make it to CL next year.

Not a very impressive performance, but the three points is what matters. I really want Spalletti to involve Karamoah more. He has a great pace. I am aware that Candreva is an experienced player, but in the recent games he seemed to be unable to create chances for Icardi. Spalletti must remind the player to give their 100% percent effort until the final whistle. Next week against Benevento, if Candreva still sucks in the first half, Karamoah must play. It can be said that we were lucky in this match. After Benevento, there will be Milan and Napoli. Even if Milan are not particularly impressed, a derby is a very different game. Against Napoli, we must admit that we are still inferior, but if we can play like in the second half against Roma, a draw is still possible. There is no way we can expect CL next year if we continue to perform like this match against Genoa.

We got the 3 points, thank god. I can say that this time they have been deserved, since we were the dominant side. Genoa defended well but luckily we took one of our chances. But for the love of god, we need to sort out our creativity against smaller sides that lock down. The last 3 games really exposed the lack of creativity we have in attack against the smaller sides. So frustrating to watch. Candreva needs to be benched, I’d rather watch Karamoh or better yet, Eder. Candreva was atleast useful last season, even if frustrating. But now, he’s just frustrating… Karamoh had a really good debut IMO, forced a lot of fouls and cards out of their players, simply by winning 1 on 1. And the corner from which we scored came of the save from his shot, so good job.
