After having made his debut for the Nerazzurri in a hardfought victory against Genoa in front of more than 50.000 spectators at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, Nerazzurri winger Yann Karamoh was interviewed by Inter Channel to share his thoughts on the 3 points earned as well as having made his debut.
“It was an important match, we needed to win, the goal was very important for the team and for the club. What Spalletti asked me to do? To take the ball, move forward into the penalty area with it and to give the team a hand. I got help from the memebers of the staff that speak French. My inward runs gave liveliness to the moves.”
In conclusion the young French winger was asked about how it felt to play at the San Siro to which he replied: “I am very happy to have made my debut here.”
I’ll be the one to say it. It wasn’t a bad debut, but it was by no means a good one. He brought energy and speed but never really beat his man or made an incisive cross/pass. Nothing Gabigol didn’t show. You all lose your shit at the slightest touch too much.
Can you then explain how he drew 2 yellows and 1 red for Genoa in 20 mins?
Trying to knock a ball past the opponent and use speed. Watching him, he wasn’t very intricate with his ball control and never really looked like getting pass anyone.
i think his 20 minutes of soccer proves what a flop Gabi-one-gol actually is !

no need to wait until throughout the season to evaluate him. his rate depends on candreva rate, now candreva rated very low. he can easily rated highly by inter’s fans just by playing simple samba dribble.
High price tags ruins youngsters, if we paid 35m for him which we should of then he would probably fail

As much I love Gabi, Yann impressed me more in 20 min than Gabi’s entire time here. On top of that he’s 2 years younger Showed good skill and explosiveness. Hopefully Candrevas days as a starter are numbered.

Don’t think we should be worried about if he’s better than Gabi! If he’s better than Candrava is the question. And the answer would be not right now he still has to learn BUT, he sure did look good and could offer something different than Candrava.

I would go both ways, either he play for us in the future or continue in Portugal. But, both way require 1 condition: him playing WELL for one long season.

The lates games Valero hasn’t played good at all.. He doesn’t win a single tackle in the midfield and he’s biggest quality is passing.. that he hasn’t shown a bit of.. I think banching him a game would do him good! No one is untouchable.. Gaglia should play because he is the midfield with out doubt that wins most balls even tho he lose some to!
