I might be not too clear about this, but my point was Spaleti now has limited player to choose.
We even only have Rano as CB back up. Or at the front we only have Icardi which has not been on form lately. Even Palacio was better than our current Eder.
Also, we all were happy when Podolski and Shaqiri were joining us. We got the hype.
I don’t remember when we trolled them like now people do to Candreva. So they did nothing wrong. But you the end of the story.
All ini all, you are right about our current squad is much better. But without depth, and that might be the problem as you might not have a variability in the team play and the opponents team getting more to know your team play. So yeah, that is what I meant. Spaleti has no team depth. Mancini had it. And compare to Mancini’s sub decision during the match, and to the current table now, I would say that Spaleti has been doing so well.

I am super pleased with the 3 points but I wont close my eyes on how we got them. There is a long way before we are a competitive team but the future is bright if we keep hold of Spalleti as I am sure one or two negative results due to bad luck and everyone will be on his throat.

Everyone talks lots of negative aspects from this match. I am not saying I disagree with that, but let’s take a look at some positive points:
– We scored two goals early in this match which is rarely seen in recents matches. But yeah the team need to stay focus and keep the leading. `Or kill the match.
– We didn’t see Eder or Karamoh. But I am happy to see how though and reliable is Milan Skiniar at the back. Bright future for him. Looks like Pique or Ramos, but I hope he can score many goals like Ramos from corner kick ( I am not Barca/Real fan).
– I don’t know why Spaleti put Dalbert. It might be to support the attack from the left flank, but it was to late. However Spaleti was right to put J Mario as RW. If we managed to score the third goal, I am sure Karamoh would play as RW while Mario may be moved to Borja position.
– Spaleti also right to put Gagliardini. He was doing a decent job to do interception or defend when Benevento did a quick counter attack. Miranda, Vecino, Borja were on yellow card, so it was right to put Gaglia instead of Karamoh/Eder.
-I expected an easy win games for Inter. But yeah Welcome to Seri-A. It is no EPL. It’s always been not easy to fight against promotion team or any bottom team. I am happy for them as I was happy for SPAL. They are a brave small team and fought till the end. Not staying at the back the whole time like Genoa.

We were good before crotone, since the pre season. We saw a lively and passionate Inter. We won convincingly against like chelsea, bayern, fio, roma. And that’s the bar spalletti had set for Inter. And since crotone, which is 4 or 5 matches up until know, we were playing under the bar. It’s okay if it’s just for one or two games, but it’s 5 games in a row. It means something is wrong.
I never bother with an ugly win in mancini era, because win is a win and we were the first up til winter. We were almost win ugly way in that era so I was grateful.
But this spalletti era, I saw a declining trend on the way we play. The passion and grinta that they had until roma game is gone. That’s worrying because after series of ugly wins, there will be series of ugly loses once they stumble upon the reality.

And when our flanks doesn’t work, things getting very complicated. The thing I don’t understand is our lack of aggression! Where’s our high pressing from preseason and first rounds? We need quality and players who can make the difference in midfield and more competition in the squad.

After all the broken dreams and disappointment over the last 6 years, you can’t really blame the fans for voicing their concerns. I think we should be patient and show support for the players and the coach and I totally disagree with all the player bashing (Candreva, JMario and co have been lacking, it’s true, but we don;t have any better options).
On the other hand, you say you are tired of so much negativity, yet you express this by calling your fellow interisti losers. Is it your intention to fight negativity by being negative?
Nobody is questioning the results. It’s an amazing start of the season and all interisti are pleased without a doubt. People are voicing their concern with the way Inter plays. We’ve been incredibly lucky so far but reality will catch up to us and if we play like this against the top teams we’ll be punished. We were lucky to play Roma and Fiorentina in the first two games because they didn’t know what to expect of this new Inter. By now all the teams are aware of Inter’s problems in midfield and the full back limitations, therefore our game plan is easy to predict. They know they need to limit the service to Icardi and the spaces in front of Perisic and Valero. We should be patient and give the coach and players time to work but 7 games into the new season Inter still lacks creativity and clear game plan. But what worries people the most is the lack of progress. Let’s hope Spalletti will be able to resolve this before the good run is over because we all remember how the players crack under pressure when the results are not there. If we can dominate and beat the likes of Milan and Napoli in the next few weeks, nobody will mind the ugly wins against the bottom teams.

Bullshits! Icardi runs a lot more and help much more in defending, than another number nine like Dzeko for example. And last season he had something like 8 or 9 assists, not bad for central forward! Most important quality for a striker is to score goals and Eder doesn’t have half of goals Icardi scored, despite that he’s seven years older.
A striker is the focal point of the offense so he should know how to create space for others since he will most likely be guarded lots of times too heavily and that creates room for his teammates.
For that it is required to have good passing skills, some vision, ability to hold the ball, being able to accept a simple pass and return it decently.
Basic things that Icardi has never been able to do. That’s why we need a real striker not just a poacher. Remember Inzaghi at Milano, well they had Shevchenko as well because you can’t build your offense around a player like Inzaghi and Icardi.
And how many matches has Icardi not scored from the open play except that penalty btw. 3 or was it 4 perhaps ?!

Inside or outside the penalty area, every goal counts the same. Batistuta wasn’t complete striker by your definition, but nobody will denie that he was great forward. Same for Trezeguet, Van Nistelrooy, Klose, Shearer, Inzaghi, etc. And even when Icardi isn’t involved enough in building attacks, his presence in penalty area keeps opposite defenders attention and open more spaces for his teammates. Let alone his hard working with high pressure on opposite defence, when they have the ball and his serious involvement in defending by set pieces.
I think we should change the formation and play with two attackers.

It seems that, considering how many goals we have scored later in the game, our team doesn’t know how to act if we actually score early. It seemed like they went to the pub after the first 2 goals and forgot how to play. Look at Benevento’s goal, that’s some EPL defending. I didn’t like our spirit today, they took their win for granted after going up 2-0 and we could’ve given it away. In the end, 3 points is 3 points and we’re continuing our streak. Forza Inter!
