In the latest edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport, Vincent Candela was interviewed was asked about the difference between Eusebio Di Francesco and Luciano Spalletti “I don’t know nor do I want to share”
He continued advising “When he was hired as the coach (Di Francesco) I was very happy. I prefer finishing in third place with him than finishing second with the other person who took the seat.”
He finished off stating “I’m speaking in the last two years, they say that this Roma team is better than it was last year. For me I cannot agree. Salah and Rudiger departed, the best goalie in the league went to Juventus and Totti is no longer here, but the way he was used is another discussion for another day.”
Dear, Almighty Mr.Candela, the way you’re thinking now resemble mediocrity, same as your past club…
Did you see Inter destroy Roma 3-1? Say no more.
I saw the game and the only thing getting destroyed was our midfield in the first half. We got lucky as hell in this game so no need to ponder
Yes, You’re right, but we’ve got 3 points at Olimpico after poor game, and Bilan didn’t get any after a decent game on San Siro. Three points it’s only thing that matters.
3 points are great as well as Inter’s start of the season up to now but not all that matters. Over the length of the season, the teams that play good will win the most games and will win more fans/sales and sponsors. Let’s hope Inter can improve and get some much needed reinforcements during the winter break so it can build on the good results.
Bilan are in the exact same situation as us last year. Much spending in the summer- high expectations- they suck in the season- firing their coach mid season- ending 7th place. i like this!
Fassone is a cancer, with us and them. Always overpay for unproven talent. Kondogbia and Gabigol price was scandalous, now he spent 220 mil on 11 average players to satisfied his ego, rather than give 3-4 world class player that montella need. His background as ex Rube director tells everything
Bilan lost to Rome. And a red card to Hakan, their new lord. Good for us for the derby.
Still two weeks to go. Anyway If we had the same situation like them, we might sack Montella and get Anceloti back or someone else 😀
Juve draw with Atalanta as well so overall it’s been a good week despite the negativity.
Did you see the penalty for them after referee seeing the VAR replay? Such a shame. Dirty cheat club!
Absolutely scandalous referee. I wonder how he’ll defend his decision after he went to see it with his own eyes on replay. And it wasn’t even a discussion, the ball was right on Petagna’s shoulder and I’m 100% sure the VAR people in his mic were also saying “No penalty”.
The best part was when Dybala missed the penalty. Great day for both of the nerrazzuri.
Let’s hope Montella stays 😀
