Fabio Caressa spoke about Inter, Spalletti & the ongoing question of who should be Inter’s trequartista at the Sky Sport studios today.

“I don’t think that Brozovic is the trequartista for this Inter, I believe it to be Joao Mario. The Croatian is the player in the Inter team that closest resembles Nainggolan at Roma for his timing & placement, but he his form has fluctuated so much that he can’t be someone who you can rely on week in-week out. The hand of Spalletti is clear to see, last year this team showed no togetherness but now it is more of a team. They concede few goals: Skriniar has been a great signing & very underrated. The merits of the defensive strength must go to Spalletti, at the end of the day D’Ambrosio & Nagatomo are still playing & that’s because the defence is assured. The problem however is Icardi.: If Inter want to finish in the top 3 this season, Icardi has to score at least 25 goals. He needs to be more focussed & concentrated on what to do on the pitch.”
