Inter are keeping a close eye on Lucas Torreira according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport. The 21-year-old Sampdoria midfielder is a target for the Nerazzurri who wish to add to their midfield. Torreira holds a Spanish passport despite being Uruguayan so would therefore not count against Inter’s non-EU quota. Torreira, who is under contract at the Marassi for a further five years has a €25 million release clause.
Torreira has played in every minute of Sampdoria’s seven games in all competitions this far but has been unable to contribute a goal or an assist.
