In an exclusive interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, Walter Samuel better known as the “Wall” for all Inter fans discussed his recent coaching job for Lugano, the current state of the Argentine national team and the Derby.

On being an assistant coach for Lugano “Sincerely I didn’t expect the proposal once I arrived in Argentina.  I spoke to Tami who requested for me to be his number two and for me it was a great decision to make.  Currently we are not going through an easy stretch but this comes with the territory.  I, however, am very happy to be in Lugano.

On the current struggles for the Argentine National team whom are at huge risk to not qualify for the World Cup “I will certainly watch the match, same as I watched the game vs Peru, for which we had a bit of misfortune.  At this point we have to play it all to win, but the national team issues have been ongoing for over a year now, but I have a lot of faith in the players we have.”

Lastly, his thoughts on the Derby di Milano “I’m expecting a very beautiful game especially since Milan reinforced their roster a lot, while Inter is doing very good.  There isn’t a favorite for the match.  Even though it’s said often, in the Derby you have to give it your all and it’s different than the rest.  To me, games of this sort never have a favorite.”
