Hajduk Split sporting director Sasa Bjelanovic spoke on Manchester United’s failed move for Ivan Perisic in the summer in an interview with Sky Sport: “We are proud that he playing at Inter, but in summer we had hoped that Manchester United would have signed him.”
“We are guaranteed a % of the transfer fee due to developing him and a little extra money would help a club like ourselves who do not have a lot of resources.”
Perisic came through the youth system of Hajduk but never played a first team game as he transferred to French club Sochaux before he could debut.
