Borja Valero spoke with Premium Sport ahead of the Milan derby in two days time, “I think it will be very intense, I hope it’s good for the fans and for us.”

The Spanish midfielder will come up against former manager Vincenzo Montella – now at the helm of Milan – and the summer signing spoke fondly of their time together.

“I have a great relationship with Montella, we were together for three years. He likes to win but we will try to do anything to stop him doing that on Sunday.”

He concluded discussing his current coach, Luciano Spalletti, “He has trusted me from the start: that’s a great thing for a player.”
