Is a contract renewal near for Yuto Nagatomo?

Going into the 2017-2018 season, Yuto Nagatomo was 3rd in the depth chart behind Ansaldi whom is now in Torino and Dabert who is Inter’s new acquisition from the Summer mercato.  However, Yuto Nagatomo is making the most of his chances and is one of Spalletti’s vital pieces for which he trusts the Japanese International.  With Dalbert still getting used to the Serie A league, Nagatomo quietly has leaped over the depth chart.

Six caps so far this season, all under the left back position and with 437 minutes played, Nagatomo now has 203 games played for Inter with 11 goals and 18 assists.  The good news just doesn’t end here for Nagatomo, according to FcInteNews.it, with the defenders contract set to expire in June of 2019, a renewal can be imminent but doubt-idly before 2018.
