After the 0-0 draw between Inter and Napoli at the Stadio San Paoli in Naples, Inter’s legendary defender Giuseppe Bergomi was so impressed he declared that the Nerazzurri are now ready to fight for the Serie A title.
The former Inter captain, nicknamed ‘Lo Zio’ by the Nerazzurri faithful, was asked during Sky Sport Italia’s post match coverage what this result and performance means for Inter moving forward to which he stated: “For me Inter are ready to fight for the Scudetto. If they can hold Napoli to a draw in Naples then it means the time has come for them to challenge for the title.”

No, we’re not and we shouldn’t delude ourselves. But we’re going forward step by step and if the whole club continue to working hard like this, sooner or later the result will come. And we doesn’t need the whole pressure that coming with Scudetto race. Now we have the foundation, strong defence and mentality, but we still lacking a few players, especially in attack who can make the difference.
With all due respect, the team target is CL qualification. Not trying to win the Scudetto.
If they did, then fine but its NOT what the team should strive for.
