Gazzetta dello Sport have asked the question, “Who are the real Inter?” following the Nerazzurri going top of the table with a win over Sampdoria last night.
The Nerazzurri were 3-0 up by the hour mark but let their three goal lead slip in the final twenty minutes of play as Sampdoria pulled two back and thankfully for Inter’s sake were unable to find an extra goal to tie things up. Gazzetta view the Inter that managed to blow their opponents out of the water as one Inter – who show a similar superiority to Napoli and Juventus – but the Inter who very nearly threw things away entirely in the final twenty minutes as another.
Gazzetta have partly placed responsibility on Inter manager Luciano Spalletti for the near collapse but then recall the games with Bologna, Benevento and Crotone, where Inter looked to be struggling to keep playing at the same level right to the very end.

That’s the difference between great teams and good teams. A great team will never take their foot off the gas for a full 90 minutes. We’re getting there. I have faith in Spalletti to get our boys to that level.
We simply need more bodies on the bench. When Vecino, galgliardini and Valero (who is superb as our attacking mid btw) needs a sub we have literally no one on the bench of a high enough quality to take over. Mario is beeing played as a attacking mid not a central mid, but he keeps on struggleing in doing anything positive in that role (yes, I’m for an exchange of him and Pastore if we can) and Broso is also best at going forward.
I hope we manage to get another central midfielder in in January and maybe an attacking (Broso and especially Valero lately have been doing great so…).
and don’t forget a CB at least.. ^^
This is so true. Although brozovic can play a deeper role, but of someone get injured like brozo recently, our midfield is lack of depth. But I prefer a loan deal, and then get someone notable next summer. Ramires is great cheap option
Spaletti knows best, I trust him to do what he thinks is best.
