Juventus central defender Andrea Barzagli spoke on the tight race for the scudetto in an interview with Premium Sport.
“This season, 5-6 teams are on the right track and all up there.” He continued, “The top teams have all built themselves competitive teams and for now it looks like a balanced race so far.
He concluded “We will see [what happens], as the season is still long, we are only just at the beginning.”
Barzagli’s Juventus – who are looking to secure their seventh straight scudetto – currently sit in third place in the standings, a point off second placed Inter and three off leaders Napoli.
The 36-year-old veteran has made seven league appearances thus far and four appearances in other competitions for the Bianconeri.
