Valencia plan to activate their option to redeem Geoffrey Kondogbia for €25 million according to Spanish outlet Cadena Ser.
Once redeemed, Valencia intend to sign the Frenchman to a four-year contract and have an €80 million release clause within the contract – something already provisionally agreed between the parties concerned.
The 24-year-old, who departed Inter in the summer, has been a revelation in Spain and impressed many with his eight performances thus far which he has scored twice. His teammate, Dani Parejo recently told AS, “Geoffrey has surprised me a lot. He is a very good guy who gives a hand to everyone. In my opionion is one of the surprises of the season in Spain.”
Kondogbia has largely shown what many expected of him while at Inter upon his return to Spain where he previously played for Sevilla.

I’m not so sure. Clearly 25M is cheap, with the way Kondogbia is performing at Valencia. So they’re likely going to make money off of that deal while we lost money, as 25M can’t recoup what was invested initially.
We have inserted 30% sell on fee on his future transfer. If any club is crazy enough paying 80 million for him, we gonna get cool 24 million off him.
I wasn’t aware of that clause. In that case, 25M is a fine sale; we’ll probably break even with the 30% cut on the next transfer.
And clearly he was playing like a 6m player at inter we can now coup around 50m for him
next summer or the following winter he is in barca or real for .. cca 75mill
