Young Italian left back Federico Dimarco, who moved to Sion in the summer from Inter, suffered an injury early on in season that has left him on the sidelines for a lengthy period. Now he is almost back to full fitness.

His Sporting Director at Sion, Marco Degennero said “He was unlucky to get injured, but before that he gave some excellent performances, he is a great player. Inter retain a buy back clause in his contract but we hope to have him here longer than just 8 months.” Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb.com just a month ago, he underlined the 20 year old fullback’s start to the season, who has a contract with the Swiss club until 2021.

As mentioned, Inter have a buy back clause in his contract thought to be around €7 million, valid until May 2018. The player is on the verge of full fitness again & will be ready for selection again soon & is ready to give play his part for the club, as he did until his injury at the start of the season to good affect. When he does return to the first team however he will have a new manager. Italian Manager Paolo Tramezzani, was sacked at the start of this week after his sides draw at home to bottom of the table Lugano. He was replaced by Gabriel Garcia.

Dimarco will now set his sights on impressing the new manager, carrying on where he left off before injury, hopefully putting in some good displays and wait and see what Inter to decide to do in May FCInterNews.it have concluded upon examining the situation.
