According to Corriere della Sera, Inter have been given the green light to proceed with plans to build a new headquarters and training base in Piazza D’Armi from the councillor for urban planning Pierfrancesco Maran.
The Nerazzurri have planned to invest around €100 million in to the 75 acre facility, near to the San Siro. The new training base will have no less than 20 training pitches, a specialised medical centre, multiple gymnasiums and a residential area among other things. The training base will also be the home for Inter’s youth teams.
Architect Leopold Freyrie drew up the plans which have been tailor made to meet all of Suning’s requests as they aim to replicate the training campuses of the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Inter have been at present training base Pinetina, renamed Angelo Moratti Sports Centre for sponsorship reasons, for over 50 years, having first moved in in 1963.

That 100M euros I would spend it on stadium first. Great modern training facilities are nice to have tho.
#InterIsComing
Fuck yeah, Inter is modernizing!!
This new owner and management is really smart, look at the way they avoid FFP:
1. Renamed the training ground to generate sponsorship income.
2. Engineered Caprari-Skriniar and Eguelfi-Bastoni deal to write those as income in 2016-2017 balance.
3. Delay some deals to august to avoid it as 2016-2017 expense thus avoid further red in our balance.
4. Cutting salary by selling/loaning high earner: Kondo, Gabi, Banega, JoJo, and release palacio.
Next year we should go to UCL, then this training ground and other plan can start, if we fail, we would see some accounting trick again nex year.
smart moves
Hmm I think a lot of the credit for these enlargement of our training facilities that surely will be brought up to the very best in the world today, belongs to Thohir who when he took over, visited Real Madrid a lot and ever since has tried to “copy” then at Inter, which I have nothing at all against!
You must be high man. Tohir did fick nothing….
Like or Not, He did. He did linked Inter to Suning and convinced Moratti to sell his stake to Suning. Thank him a little won’t hurt you.
You must be high man. Thohir did lots of things to inter….
Yeah not even bothered to learn about club history. He did make money out of Inter. His number 1 idea
I don’t really know how much Thohir involved with this, but I could say is that he did save Inter from bankruptcy.
You are not serious. Inter would have never been bankrupt. Don’t make it look like tohir has done something. He only bought inter for money.
You know that before Thohir took over Inter are in a big mess financially right!. We saw Inter was becoming a “supermarket” club, heck we even force Sneijder to get out because Inter could not afford his wage. Inter main revenue was from Moratti and at that time he could no longer afforded it. Inter basically aren’t designed to became a financially sustainable club with itself, no Moratti,no money!. and with FFP it just getting worse!.
So the only option is to sell the club, but with a club that isn’t managed as business entity, not financially sustainable whatsoever, deficit every year, who want to buy it?, if you remember there was a deal with some company from China, but guess what, unsurprisingly the deal collapse, which i’m sure after they see how bad the management is.
And year later Thohir took over. And by the change he made, we realized just how bad Inter was. From as simple as ticketing, from how stupid this club was paying many people just to drink coffee at the club HQ doing nothing!. And who’s the one that bring the “giant” Suning to Inter?, Thohir!.
Even if he bought Inter only for money, that in itself is what save Inter, and bring as here today.
R u Indonesian? This must be the only reason why you kiss his bottom
So, stating some facts is wrong this day hah?. Jezzz…..
That’s the problem you have no facts. Just as I thought… Don’t want to argue with you anymore mate. All the best
Wow, i got no facts and you don’t want to argue anymore?. LMAO
Ok, mate that’s it.
all the guys are saying is true it was Thohir who brought sunning . Actually Thohir is very successful business man and its not wise to bash him wrongfully. he came to inter with long term strategy but once he suspected his plan (once he realized how trashy inter was at that moment from players to management) he decided to take another route boom then sunning came.
It all goes back to Moratti he wouldnt deliver inter to anyone it had to be some1 he trusts.
unlike milans burelsconi who threw them away with some unknown chinese investors and now if they didn’t make it UCL they are in deep deep trouble
Wake up
I thank mostly the Zhang family, it’s their money. How much Thorir has to do with this is hard for me to say, but I do remember he liked the Real Madrid facilities, so it’s possible he has been an architecture, or one of them here.
Anyways, it’s great Inter gets these great modern facilities as one would think it will be easier to attract best youth players when you have this kind conditions to offer.
