Alessandro Antonello was confirmed as the new Chief Executive of Inter at this morning’s shareholders meeting.

Antonello, who had been co-acting on the board of directors since August, spoke on the 2016/17 financial statements being approved at the meeting which was held in Milan’s Paris Parigi.

“Thanks to the hard work of everyone at the club and commercial growth we have ensured these positive figures for 2016/17. The underlying trend is one of growth and sustainability as we concentrate on returning Inter to highest level of European football. All of our actions so far are part of our plan to make the team more competitive and turn our club into a model for sporting success.”

On top of confirming Antonello as CEO and the financial statements, the Nerazzurri also confirmed the make-up of the board of directors and it is as follows: Handy Purnomo Soetedjo, Nicola Volpi, Alessandro Antonello, Yang Yang, Mi Xin, Zhang Kangyang, Ren Jun, Liu Jun.
