The son of Suning supremo Zhang Jindong, Steven Zhang, who is also member of Inter’s board of directors spoke to the gathering media at the end of yesterday’s meeting between shareholders at the Paris Palace in Milano.

“We launched the #InterIsComing hashtag in the summer and it was a courageous thing to do. Because we had to be certain that Inter was coming back. For now the facts are backing up those words” Zhang began.

Steven Zhang also talked about the current form of the team, concluding that “Let me thank Luciano Spalletti and his staff for the fantastic work they have been doing with the first team since the summer. Those that work at Inter work with their hearts. Our main objective remains to qualify for European football and we deserve to be there. We will do what we can to make Inter a strong, healthy and sustainable club.”
