According to elgoldigital.com, Spanish Primera Division outfit Valencia will activate the option to sign French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia from Inter but only to immediately after negotiate a transfer to Real Madrid.
Los Merengues coach Zinedine Zidane is reportedly very impressed by the performances of the former Sevilla and Monaco midfielder so far this season, especially during 2-2 draw at the Bernabeu against the reigning European champions earlier this season.
Furthermore, according to the report Valencia are going to ask Real Madrid for midfielder Marcos Llorente as part payment for Kondogbia plus an additional €10 million in order to agree to part ways with the midfielder who joined Valencia on a season long loan deal this past summer.
Geoffrey Kondogbia, born in 1993, was signed by Inter from Monaco ahead of the 2015/2016 season for a reported €40 million but has failed to peform consistently which has led him to lose his place in the French natinal team.
again a “great inter’s decision” about a player potential …
I AM VERY GLAD ABOUT KONDO… everything goes on as I predicted about him.
haha, valencia, please don’t copy/paste my idea about selling kondo to barca or real…
how dare you ?!?! LOL
Then we will have 30% of Llorente ?
How would a percentage of further sale be measured in this situation ?
why we don’t sell him to Madrid directly?
Why don’t we bring him back to Inter and accept we screwed him up for 2 years?
We screwed him ?? As far as am concerned, inter is doing much better without him too…
Υes, but NOT because he left. Its because Inter after 7 years decided to become a team again, and we finally got a proper technician, Spalletti. It was about time I guess….andI am sure Spalletti would be able to use K-dog nicely, he really wanted to keep him. The guy has great potential, noon can deny that, if the team sucks, all players suck in the end. And we sucked big time the last 4-5 years…
Yeah he does have talent but also a very weak mental
Dude against chelsea the team was good
Have you forgot that Owngolazo ? :))))
Yes because vecino is twice better than kondogbia. So yes we are better without him
Not so sure. I find Vecino’s shooting ability poor to be honest. He’s had a lot of open looks and can’t even hit the target.
We can’t… Once Valencia decides to trigger the loan agreement he’s as good as gone…thankfully we’d make back some of the cash wasted on him when we get 30% of the resale value to Madrid
it’s something more than gentlemen’s agreement thou. just forget him and pocket the 8mios
I think we gave Valencia an option to buy – if they so choose, we can’t stop.
With that said, if Valencia buy Dog for 25M, and sell to Madrid for 50M (low estimate) – we make 30%, or 15M. Total 40M would break even on the initial investment. This is not too bad.
