Yuto Nagatomo made his 205th appearance for Inter on Tuesday night against Sampdoria in the Nerazzurri’s 3-2 win at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
Only Samir Handanovic has made more appearances for the Nerazzurri out of all the players in the current Inter squad having guarded Inter’s goal on 216 occasions. The Japenese international defender has now enetered Inter’s top 50 list of players of all time that have played competetive matches for the Nerazzurri.
Nagatomo, who was subject of much transfer speculation during the summer, is somwhat surprisingly becoming a key of the team under coach luciano Spalletti who has been hailed for possessing an almost magical touch when it comes to getting the best out of the players at his disposal.
Inter have had one of their best starts ever to their Serie A campaign under the former Zenit and Roma tactician and are currently in 2nd place in the Serie A, 2 points behind Napoli.
Even Dalbert fails to dethrone him, damn it
the man, the myth, the legend NAGASHOCKMORE!
really hard worker, skill wise for me he is quite average, very determined, professional attitude and motivated all the time, his best period was during mazzari era i think..
his problem in previous year was consistency, sometime he lost concentration in a very bad situation and causing us to conceded a goal, but nowadays under spaletti he can fully stay focus all the way 90 mins..
The Bonsai Samurai !
Nobody can say that he is lazy, or that he is not always trying.. or that he is not a serious professional.
dont even know what to say… a shame.
I always knew Nagatomo was the man …. i remember back when Leonardo bringed him that season he was the player who had the most klm in seria as well as the next year . He is like a modified Honda civic like an artisanal machine always working
LEGEND!
You better believe it
