Inter legend Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bergomi spoke on the ongoing race for the scudetto, praising Inter manager Luciano Spalletti in the process.
“Inter are trained well by Luciano Spalletti and are not in any extra competitions. He has enhanced the quality of the players at Inter.
“The Serie A is an exhausting league and I do not know whether Napoli will win the scudetto or not. I like Napoli and Lazio’s play-styles but for physicality I prefer Inter and Juventus. I can not work out where Roma, who score few goals, fit in as they do not play well but grind out results and this is the most important thing.”
As a former defender himself, Bergomi, who played in Nerazzurri for his whole 20 year career, discussed who he felt was best equipped defensively in the league.
“Defending at the individual level is becoming more and more difficult, but at this moment I would say Juventus and If Juve defends as a team, they remain the strongest.
“Inter is also defending well with Milan Skriniar and Joao Miranda though while Roma has no big names but are doing well,” he concluded.
frankly speaking he is right, napoli and lazio attack is more fluid and dangerous, their midfields are more pact than ours. but league winner doesnt count based on this. its about consistency of winning the match. lets see if these two jokers plus the old lady can maintain their performance till end of the league, hopefully not..
And I like your eyebrows, but you know better than all of us that Lazio’s form is ALWAYS temporary and Napoli won’t have don’t win the Scudetto this year they won’t be getting the same chance for a very long time.
