Inter coach Luciano Spalletti will deploy the same starting line-up as the ones he has used in Inter’s three previous Serie A games this season when the Nerazzurri travel to Verona to take on Hellas at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi later on tonight at 20.45 CET, according to a report in Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
According to the report, former Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero has been confirmed to play as a trequartista behind the Inter captain Mauro Icardi who will chase goals up front. Meanwhile Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini will play deeper in the middle of the pitch once more as they did against Milan, Napoli and Sampdoria. The team departed yesterday afternoon on a bus to Verona after having concluded their last preparations.
Here is the probable line up according to Corriere dello Sport:
Inter (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Milan Skriniar, Joao Miranda, Yuto Nagatomo; Matias Vecino, Roberto Gagliardini; Antonio Candreva, Borja Valero, Ivan Perisic; Mauro Icardi
i would love to see karamoah, dalbert or cancelo come in for substitution if possible.
I like the no-nonsense approach by Spalletti. Since we don’t play in Europe, he’s fielding the best squad every match; not taking chances of dropping points by turnovers.
Ok I get your point that he would like to stick with the same formation and wants players get to know each other well, but you know you have to be ready at anytime whenever any player is injured or suspeension to have other players who would step in.
For me I would have given Dalbert more chances especially even after seeing Nagatomo at his best form but he still makes SOME silly mistakes.
We can’t afford to lost any points if we want in CL next season
I dont think playing Dalbert is loosing a point, or giving Eder time to play with Perisic amd Icardi is a lost of point.
I dont thing playing Karamo at least 20 minutes when sub tired Candreva is a lost of point.
All am asking is rotation atleast where there is a wickness, and we all know our biggest wickness is full back, right?
Dalbert would start if this were a home game. Spalletti isn’t taking chances on an away game.
