Inter coach Luciano Spalletti is to stick with the side that started in last Tuesday’s win over Sampdoria in the Serie A according to Inter’s official television channel, InterTV.
Rumours in the media had suggested that Spalletti would in fact stick with the side and Inter TV have confirmed this alongside the fact that Marcelo Brozovic would be returning to the bench. Brozovic has been sidelined for close to a month with a calf injury and missed the Milan derby, the draw against Napoli and the aforementioned victory over Sampdoria.
Samir Handanovic, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Milan Skriniar, Miranda and Yuto Nagatomo will make up the defence. Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino will remain together in the midfield two while Borja Valero is deployed in a more advanced role, sandwiched in between Ivan Perisic and Antonio Candreva who will occupy the wings. Captain Mauro Icardi will of course start up top on his own.
if ain’t broken don’t fix it.
Spalletti is not like an impatient fan ,”curious to see ” this or that new player.
He sees Cancelo,Dalbert and Karamoh every single training session.
They are good players that he wanted too,but he sees them every day ,if he decides that this is our best ,safest starting line up for now..then that’s it.
Cancelo comes from an injury still giving him some pains by the way.
Others need to come in from the bench gradually and then starting perform well, consistently.
If they are “that ” good it will reveal itself in the end.
totally agree, i up vote ur comment
Not sure about this one. Dalbert and Cancelo both have more talent than our dear Lords, and especially Nagatomo. Matches against lower opponents are the best ones to let Dalbert get some play time without too much pressure. I hope we get to see him play today.
lower opponents but played like just now, pressure is very consistent throughout 90 mins, there are no easy match for us, even against benevento we suffer until end of the final whistle, we almost lost the 3 points there..
I like how Candreva is now shooting more often and cutting inside (instead of just going left and right everytime until he finds room for poor cross), and way more often sending low crosses instead of that silly high ones.
