Inter’s dealings during the upcoming transfer window in January will not be one where a lot of money is spent, if anything at all according to a report in Tuttosport.

Jiangsu Suning’s Ramires has been widely reported as expected to join Inter on a dry loan, similar to the one which saw Australian international defender Trent Sainsbury join the Nerazzurri on a 6 month loan last January. Moreover, Inter will seek out a defender and are considering to make a loan offer for Manchester City’s Eliaquim Mangala, who they courted during the summer and came very close to signing but a deal never materialized.

If an offer were to arrive for one of midfield duo Joao Mario or Marcelo Brozovic, Inter could sell which in turn would allow them to go after Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal. However, going after the former Juventus midfielder would automatically rule out Ramires’ arrival due to both players being non-EU nationals Tuttosport concludes.

The 30-year-old Chilean international midfielder has appeared 12 times for the reigning Bundesliga champions this season in all competitions, scoring once and assisting once in the process.
