Former Inter coach and current Turkish national football manager Mircea Lucescu was interviewed by Tuttomercatoweb about former Inter target Emre Mor and the youngsters subsequent move to Celta Vigo in the Primera Division.

“He is only twenty years old. He chose La Liga over Serie A and it is better for him at his age because at Inter he would have been under much more pressure than he is now.”

Emre Mor was reportedly very close to joining Inter during the summer but his agent’s financial demands ultimately caused the move to collapse. The former Borussia Dortmund winger joined Celta Vigo on a five-year deal after talks with Inter broke down and has so far this season made seven appearances for Celta Vigo since arriving in Spain, getting on the scoresheet once in the process.

The Romanian tactician, Lucescu, also heaped praise on current Inter coach Luciano Spalletti for the work he has done since taking charge of the Nerazzurri in June: “Spalletti has had a great experience so far and will do very well at Inter. They did not rush or have any crazy expenses and if they keep playing well, Inter can compete for the Scudetto next year.”
