Argentina national team coach Jorge Sampaoli has named his squad for the upcoming international friendly matches against Russia and Nigeria later on this month.

The Nerazzurri captain has once again been included by the former Sevilla coach whilst Juventus striker, Gonzalo Higuain, has been left out once again despite scoring 3 goals in his last 2 matches against AC Milan in the Serie A as well as against Sporting Lisbon in the Bianconeri’s last Champions League group stage fixture.

The former Napoli striker’s teammate at Juventus, Paolo Dybala has however been included in the 22-man squad which includes former Inter player Ever Banega.

Defenders: Javier Mascherano, Federico Fazio, Gabriel Mercado, Nicolas Otamendi, German Pezzella, Emiliano Insua.
