Ivan Perisic has scored 22 goals in Nerazzurri since his arrival from Wolfsburg back in the summer of 2015. Corriere dello Sport have looked further in to the Croatian’s goals and highlighted that no less than 16 of the 22 have come in the second half, 10 of which have come within the last 15 minutes of play. Perisic has netted on four occasions thus far, all bar one of which have came in the last 15 minutes.

Moreover, the 28-year-old winger is well on course to exceed the 11 assists he made last term as he currently sits on five after 11 games, four of which have been to the captain Mauro Icardi Corriere dello Sport highlight.

In the summer, Perisic looked set for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United but Inter manager Luciano Spalletti convinced him to stay and a special relationship between the duo has been struck and Inter are reaping the benefits of this for sure.
