Gabriel Barbosa has featured in just 148 minutes this season for Portuguese reigning champions Benfica since making the loan transfer this past summer from Inter.
According to UOL Esporte, the player who was nicknamed Gabigol in Brazil for his lethal ability in front of goal, was targeted by Benfica’s Directors this summer whilst current coach Rui Vitoria had not given his approval to the transfer.
Now a return to Brazil is looking very likely, according to the report, with Sao Paulo and former club Santos rumored to be of interest in the tha player who won Olympic gold for Brazil in the Rio Summer Olympics in 2014. Meanwhile Alexandre Passaro, intermediary for Italian affairs for Brazilian clubs, has recently met with the player’s entourage to unblock the situation and help the player kickstart his career.
Gabigol signed for Inter durign the 2016 summer transfer window for a reported €30 million and failed to impress on any of Inter’s 4 coaches during last season.
That’s sad y’all , something it’s switched off at Gabigoal and no one knows what it is !!!
If i was him i stop consider playing and find out what is going on . History has tought us so many strange things can happen to humans in many ways so you better find out what changed to you or what is bothering you find the right professional and you may be gabigoal again …. just saying tho
It’s clear as day that gabriel jesus is the more talented one the day we bought him.. but i’m surprised he would be this bad
Hmmm, seriously don’t know why we bought him…just loan him to Serie A mid table team for 2 seasons and not to Brazil.
Because Suning didn’t know football back then, believed every word Joorabchian said. We also paid JM 40-50M and that’s considered overpriced. The appointment of Pioli over Marcelino (see where Valencia is under Marcelino) happened because Joorabchian recommended Pioli. This agent has done so much disservice to the club, and we should not do any business with him in the future.
Very true. I am still surprise about Valencia tbh.
Marcelino is a good coach. We would have done much better had we appointed him instead of Pioli. Of course, that means we wouldn’t have Spalletti this year, so I guess it kind of turned out good that Pioli sucked and got sacked.
Pioli steadied our ship and got great results at the start. The poor preseason got the better of them after January.
Joorabchian is just a business man that only wants his own interests period…
Suning trusted him and he messed up.
Marcelino would NOT have done better than Pioli. He doesn’t even speak Italian, nor know anything of Calcio.
Pioli came when Suning stopped listening to sources that were pushing “international” managers.
He was Ausilio’s choice.
Did Mourinho speak Italian? Did he know calcio before coming to Inter? Knowing calcio doesn’t mean shit, mate. There are tons of crappy managers who “know” calcio. There are many managers who excel without knowing calcio prior to coming to Italy.
Mou never gave us a start like we have now. Every other Calcio newbie has been chewed up and spit out.
All top Serie A teams have an Italian manager.
Pioli was the best choice because a major issue was the problems with communication that De Bóer had.
Why are you talking about this season’s start? That has nothing to do with any of what we’ve discussed.
Also, De Boer was just awful at anything he did. Solving issues he caused is an easy task, and that doesn’t make Pioli our best choice.
Referencing now to show the impact on almost the same squad from an Italian manager. If you realize all the player cite his ability to communicate well as the main difference.
Pioli brought that as well. He could communicate his ideas.
If Marcelino came in, he’d be exacerbating an issue which was the lack of proper communication between the technical staff and the players.
I disagree, and let’s leave it at that. We can’t turn the clock back to see what would have happened had Marcelino came, so it is a moot point. And we both love Inter.
That feeling when you jump straight to Adriano’s latest years before having the early ones. The flop is strong with that one.
