After the draw at home against Torino, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti shared his thoughts on the match and the result in an interview with Rai Sport. Although the team didn’t win the full 3 points, Spalletti’s team are still unbeaten this season after 12 match-days, and the experienced coach stated that he is not unhappy with today’s performance, “I don’t feel disappointed by the performance today, I can go home knowing the team did what they were supposed to do, we created many dangerous chances, but when you are playing against a team that has strength and resilience, it becomes a very physical clash and this is not really our key attribute.”
The coach was then asked about the reasons why they weren’t able to clinch a win today, “We were given a lot less space than usual, Torino left small space between the lines because they were really compact, but apart from that we are happy with today.”

No disrespect gaffer but they outplayed us in my opinion. Had better chances as well. You just have to admit that we didn’t play as we were supposed to infront of 72k fans
what outplayed? Surely they didn’t! Yes they did really well in the first half by man marking our central players ( Gagliardini, Vecino and played really hard balls on Borja plus their strikers worked their sucks off to put max pressure on Skriniar and Miranda meaning us struggling bigt8me in creating and building play from the behind which Spalla wants them to do! Miha did superbly in telling his team to do so, but in the second we got better and Torino more tired.
We had a lot of chances both with Icardi ( he had 2-3 big ones, Perisic and Vecino) but today was a bit of a off day, so gett8ng one point is okay.
