Atalanta sporting director Gabriele Zamagna spoke ahead of his sides trip to San Siro to face Inter after the international break on Sunday 19 November.

“Against Inter we will try to go toe to toe with them, nothing is impossible.”

“We have strong ownership,” he continued. “They are courageous and serious and are showing their love for the black and blue colours. Since the Percassi family took the reins at Atalanta, our Serie A status has always been maintained and every year they look to raise the bar.”

Zamagna, who was speaking on the sidelines of the Viareggio Sport Prize Award ceremony concluded by discussing VAR; which was introduced in to Serie A for this season.

“My judgment on VAR positive We all needed the use of the technology but we still need to perfect it.”
