Torino’s Iago Falque spoke on the 1-1 draw with Inter in an interview with Torino’s television channel Torino Channel.

“The result is important for us, we played a great game and it’s a point that gives us a morale boost for the future,” the Spanish winger started out saying.

Falque however knows that there is still work to be done despite the valuable point away from home.

“We must continue to work in order to confirm these good things and to stay calm because the worst time has passed,” he concluded.

The 27-year-old has been in fine form for Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Toro side, scoring six times and providing three assists in 13 games in all competitions this season. The former Real Madrid and Barcelona youth academy player joined Torino on a permanent basis back in January from fellow Serie A side Roma following a successful loan stint between June 2016 and January 2017 and is contracted to 2020.
