According to news agency ANSA, Inter-Torino was the most watched of all the Serie A games over the weekend.

Aside from the 70,000+ fans inside the San Siro, which made Inter-Torino the best attended fixture of match day 12 in Serie A, a further 1.6 million people tuned in through their televisions. This equates to 9% of the total viewing figures on Sunday.

After 12 match days, attendance across all Serie A games played thus far is nearing the 3 million mark. The average attendance for a Serie A game this season sits just under 25,000 at 24,658.

Inter have averaged 58,699 this season, the best average across the league as a whole, made further impressive by the fact that the Nerazzurri have played a home game less than half of the league attracting just shy of 300,000 spectators.

Inter’s next home game falls on Sunday November 19 against 10th placed Atalanta. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45 local time on the day.
