Former Inter striker Hernan Crespo spoke on compatriot and current Inter captain Mauro Icardi at today’s press confeerence ahead of Inter Forever’s match against a Chinese All Stars Legends team.
Asked what tip he would give Icardi, Crescpo simply replied, “To continue like he is now.”
“He has grown so much in recent years and we are all very happy, now he must continue working like he is at the moment and he will be able to achieved great things for himself.”
Icardi has had an excellent start to the 2017/18 season, scoring 11 goals in 12 games and providing one assist. Although he has recently gone two consecutive matches without scoring, so the captain will be eager to get back into the swing of things against Atalanta at the San Siro on Sunday 19 November, in order to help his team maintain their unbeaten record and stay in the race for a top four finish.
