Sky Sport Italia report that Inter could be prepared to offload their Portuguese international midfielder Joao Mario. The former Sporting Lisbon player has not impressed during his time with the Nerazzurri and has fallen behind Borja Valero, Marcelo Brozovic as well as Matias Vecino in the pecking order at the San Siro of late. It is thought that an offer in the region of €30 million would be enough for Inter to sell.
According to the report “He’s been inconsistent and has failed to show character and determination on the pitch. He also has very few assists to his name, regardless of the fact that he doesn’t start many games. However for the Portuguese national team he is always one of their key players and usually impresses. Maybe after these two friendlies with Portugal he will return to Spalletti as a better player. He has always remained calm and seems content but he has illuded to the fact recently that his lack of game time isn’t an ideal situation for him.”
If Spalleti consider to play more offensive, and not play so scary with so many defensive players in the middle(especially gaglardini whos performances lately are terible) this guy would have shown what he is capable to.He needs to play more.It would be unreal to expect him to present something special in those 10 minutes he used to play lately.
Why we always so in hurry with young talents but we can have so much patience with rubbish players like Naga and Rano just cause they are nice guys..
He needs regular playing time. Sell Brozo instead.
don’t sell this guy please
hope spalletti can turn him around, he was great last season for a while
