With Inter’s start to the season pointing towards Champions League qualification for the 2018/19 season, the Nerazzurri are starting to plan for European football.

According to Tuttosport, Inter are on the lookout for a backup for captain Mauro Icardi up top. Eintracht Frankfurt’s Sebastian Haller and Everton’s Sandro Ramirez are two names under consideration from the Nerazzurri management.

23-year-old Frenchman Haller has scored eight times in 13 appearances for the Bundesliga club in all competitions. He joined Eintracht in the summer in a €6 million deal and is under contract through to 2021.

Martinez on the other hand has not had such a good spell with his new club Everton, failing to score whatsoever in the 11 appearances in all competitions. The former Malaga man, who has came in to links with Inter previously, completed a €7 million move to Goodison Park in the summer.

Both players are understood to be available for €10 million and due to the low price, Inter can add more options to their attack.

Bologna’s Simone Verdi and Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa are both liked by Inter but Fiorentina’s Chiesa demands could make a move difficult.
