Recently interviewed by BERGAMO TV, Atalanta starlet defender Mattia Caldara spoke about last years 7-1 defeat at the hands of Inter and his thoughts on the upcoming fixture at San Siro this Sunday.
On the 7-1 Defeat last season- “What did Gasperini say after the 7-1 defeat, we are better than Inter. We promised a performance of this sort would never occur and it didn’t. The result gave us further motivation.”
On Sunday’s Prime-time clash vs Inter “With Spalletti Inter is playing with a lot of confidence and the results are proving this. On our end we need to come out organized and with full concentration. We then need to pounce on any opportunity given our way. Nothing has changed defensively in our game in respect to last season, we’re the same team except that this year we’re being penalized for our mistakes.”
