It’s currently a stalling process in terms of the San Siro front when regards to the negotiations between Inter Milan, A.C. Milan and the city of Milan.  To make matters worse, A.C. Milan are unable to allocate the necessary funding for the San Siro project due to its current debt with the Elliott fund, in addition the Red and Black club of Milan are in negotiations with additional institutions to arrange further funding.

As reported by REPUBBLICA, both Erick Thohir and Suning Group have allocated 100 Million Euro to modernize and renovate the San Siro.  Though Thohir and Suning group have pushed to remain in San Siro and have offered necessary funding, no real project has been presented to the city of Milan in order for Inter ownership to begin any such work, whether it be short term or long term.

Suning Group have presented the city of Milan with a proposal of a  practice facility within Piazza D’Armi.  This would offer the city of Milan creation of jobs and for Suning to deduct this money for tax purposes to then create liquidity for further investments down the road to modernizing and renovating the San Siro.
