Inter are to soon launch their fourth academy in China as part of their Inter Academy project in the country of the clubs owners Suning.
The academy is to be based in Chengdu, the capital of the Sichuan province where the other three academies are based. Chengdu is around 1800 kilometres from China’s capital Beijing and little under 1700 kilometres away from Suning’s headquarters in Nanjing.
Vice president Javier Zanetti , chief of revenue Michael Gandler, director of youth Barbara Biggi and Inter academy technical director Marco Monti will be present at the upcoming ceremony.
The new academy in Chengdu is the first one in collaboration with Suning since the retail company took charge of the club in 2016. The academy further highlights Inter and Suning’s desire to grow Chinese football culture as well as players and coaches. Moreover, Suning are aiming to to promote the development of young players in China.

CIES Football Observatory
Dinamo second most productive training club in Europe!
Issue number 200 of the popular CIES Football Observatory presented the annual list of the most productive training clubs. At the head of the rankings for big-5 league players is Real Madrid, while Dutch side Ajax tops the table for footballers in 31 top division European championships. GNK Dinamo is currently just behind Ajax with 67 homegrown players throughtout Europe!
Following UEFA’s definition, training clubs are teams where players stayed for at least three years between the ages of 15 and 21.
