After having helped his Inter defeat Cagliari away at the Sardegna Arena via one assist which takes him to the top of the assists chart with team-mate Ivan Perisic, Inter’s Italian international Antonio Candreva was interviewed by Premium Sport.
“It was important to win to give continuity on a very difficult pitch. We suffered but them we managed to come out well. The league is long and we know about our own qualities and we look forward one match at a time” Candreva began.
The former Lazio player continued that “what happened with the national team was a drama it went the way it went but life goes on, now I need to think about Inter. Right now we have a lot of enthusiasm and a will to do well. There are periods that are not as positive but we are working to achieve our great goals.”
Candreva, who assisted Brozovic for Inter’s second goal tonight was asked who he thinks will become the Serie A’s top goalscorer this season saying that: “I am biased, Mauro must take us to achieve important things and win something. Those who are up there are going well we cannot lose ground and have to continue down our own path.”
