Dalbert: “I Want To Make My Mark At Inter”

Inter full back Dalbert spoke on his move to the Nerazzurri among other topics in an interview with France Football today.

“It all happened very fast, I now live the dream I had as a child. Today I play at a very important club, but I’m not going to stop: I want to leave a mark in Inter’s history and dress the Brazilian national team.

“When I arrived at Inter, I first thought of my family, then I thought of myself and told myself that I would have an extraordinary experience that would give me more of a chance to get in to my national team. When I first signed at Nice I told managers that I wanted to play with the Seleçao. It is a pity that some people did not understand my decision, but it’s not serious.”

The Brazilian, who joined in a €20 million deal in the summer then spoke on the Nice fans and how they reacted to his departure from the club.

“In their eyes I was a traitor and was whistled at against Ajax. It was one thing that made me feel bad. In the future I would like to return to Nice, but I do not think it will be possible. I have a lot of respect for the real fans and for the club.”

“When I can, I watch the matches, I still have a lot of friends there and I hope they do well,” he concluded.
