After participating in Sunday’s marathon in Florence, the wife of Inter’s Spanish midfielder Borja Valero, Rocio Rodriguez, gave an interview to Sky Sport Italia about what it meant to have two supporters, Inter captain Mauro Icardi and his wife/agent Wanda Nara, by her side during the race.
“After the race I was told that while we were running others stopped to take photos with Mauro Icardi and Borja” she laighed before moving on to describe her experience in Milano since moving from Floence admitting that “it was not easy moving here at first but thanks to Mauro Icardi and his other teammates we have settled in quickly. I will be eternally grateful to Wanda and everyone else as well. We are very much friends with them too.”
She was then asked about the relationship between her husband Borja Valero and Inter coach Luciano Spalletti, in which she replied: “I only know that Borja is happy with it.”
